On November 17, 2007, the 5^th AACCWD General Assembly took place at St. James of Los Angeles. His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian presided over the meeting.

Rev. Fr. Archpriest Arshag Khatchadourian welcomed the guests to the St. James Armenian Church. The opening remarks were made by the Assembly Chair Ben Krikorian. Assembly Secretary, Dn.Mihran Toumajan conducted the roll call. Chairman Dn. Dr. Sarkis Mesrobian presented the Central Council’s report and expressed his satisfaction with the progress made during the past year. The WD Yegmalian Badarak book, prepared by Dn. Ari Demiril, was approved by the assembly. Maestro Khoren Mekanejian was the honor guest from the East Coast to the 5^th AACCWD. During the workshop, Maestro taught several new songs and prayers to the participants. Several acknowledgments were made by the Assembly Chair, Ben Krikorian. In conclusion, The Primate blessed the Assembly.
