On June 3, 2007 at the AGBU Headquarters in Pasadena, Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, was invited to address the youth.  In his message the Primate stated: “Focus on the importance of the mission of the AGBU Generation Next, which helps the youth to develop self-confidence and respect for our culture.” Deacon Mayis Shahbazian accompanied the Primate to this event.
