Western Diocese

On Saturday, November, 17, 2007, the 4^th anniversary of the Cathedral Parishes was held at the Kalaydjian Hall of the Western Diocese. The Primate attended the event. The Very Rev. Fr. Dajad Dz. V. Yardemian, Vicar General of the Western Diocese, the Very Rev. Fr. Baret Dz. V. Yeretsian, Pastor of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church of Pasadena, Rev. Fr. Tavit Zelveyan, Pastor of the Burbank parish, Dn. Mayis Shahbazian and other guests were also present at the event.

His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian lauded the dedicated service rendered by the Parish Council members and Ladies’ Society. Council members Norik Grigorian, Hrahad Gevorkyan, and Vazken Galaydjian were presented “Blessing and Commendation” letters by the Primate. The Ladies’ Society members Anahid Karapetian, Arpi Hovsepyan, Mary Aghazaryan, Anahid Hagopyan, Hermine Galaydjian, Parkouhi Aboulian, Ramela Seropyan, Sona Teknejyan, and Ripsime Papazyan were also honored by the Primate’s “Blessing and Commendation” letters.

Parish Concil member Dn. Dr. Hagop Nalbandian served as Master of Ceremonies. Parish Council Chairman, Attorney Joseph Kanimian delivered the welcoming remarks.
