Western Diocese

On Friday, May 11^th, 2007 the Western Diocese hosted a concert featuring YerazArt, Young Musicians from Armenia. With over 300 faithful in attendance, the talented young musicians played various Armenian classical and folk pieces including works by Sayat Nova, Arno Babajanian, and Aram Khatchadourian. In his closing remarks the Primate praised the performances of the Armenian teenagers because they “breathed new life and hope into the lives of the Armenian Community.” This concert was held as one of the many celebrations related the 80^th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Western Diocese and was held under the sponsorship of Mr. and Mrs. Levon Paronyan.
