Divine Liturgy Celebrated at Ararat Home – Mission Hills

Mission Hills, CA – On April 3, 2007, during Holy Week, on the occasion of Holy Tuesday, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian presided over Divine Liturgy at the Ararat Home of Mission Hills, California. The Divine Liturgy began at 10:30am and the celebrant was Fr. Tavit Zelveyan, pastor of the Armenian Church of Burbank. Also serving during the liturgy was Fr. Zaven Margosyan, Dn. Mayis Shahbazian, and Dn. Mkrtich Ksachikyan. Also representing the clergy of the Western Diocese were Fr. Nshan Beilerian, Fr. Hovsep Hagopian, Fr. Zareh Mansoorian, Fr. Arshag Khatchadurian.

The Primate delivered the sermon and spoke of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He offered his prayers and good wishes to our beloved seniors as well as that they live together in health and happiness with God’s blessings.

Following services, Lunch was held with over 300 Ararat Home supports in attendance. The Primate offered his Easter message. Participants also enjoyed a cultural performance by students of the Marie Manoogian School.
