Feb. 4 –           His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, will be celebrating Badarak at St. Sarkis Armenian Church in East Los Angeles on the occasion of their Name Day.  A gala reception will follow church services.

 

Feb. 4 –           His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, on the evening of Sunday, Feb. 4^th will attend the 25^th Anniversary Banquet of the Merdinian School.

 

Feb. 6 –           His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, will attend the Oriental Orthodox Churches Annual Meeting.

 

Feb. 7 –           His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate will attend the Episcopalian-Armenian Dialogue Group at the Episcopalian Diocese Center in Pasadena.

 

Feb. 7 –           His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, will host the Primate’s Circle of Friends Reception at the Diocesan Headquarters.

 

Feb. 9 –           His Eminence Archbishop Hovan Derderian, Primate, will be attending the AGBU Manoogian-Demirjian School Dinner Dance.

 

Feb. 11 –         His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian  Primate,  has planned a Pastoral visit to the Seattle Area Apostolic Church and will be celebrating the Divine Liturgy and joining  with the Armenian faithful at a reception following church services.

 

Feb. 12-14 –     The Diocesan Clergy Conference will be held in San Diego.

                       

Feb. 13 –         The Diocesan Clergy will be celebrating the 40^th Anniversary of the Consecration to the Episcopany of His Eminence Archbishop Vatche Hovsepian.   A gala reception will follow.

 

Feb. 15 –         Saint Vartanatz Celebration will be held at the Diocesan Headquarters.  His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, will be presiding at the Badarak and cultural events.  The Badarak will be celebrated by Archpriest Fr.  Manoog Markarian, Pastor of St. John Church in Hollywood.  Following the Badarak, cultural events will be organized by the Knights of Vartan and Daughters of Vartan.

 

Feb. 16 –         Under the auspices of His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, a program and reception honoring Professor Richard Hovannessian will be held on Friday, Feb. 16 at the Diocesan Headquarters.   The program will feature a presentation of Professor Richard Hovannessian’s historial Armenia books publication by Dr. Vahram Shemmassian.  

Dr. Maral  Yeranossian Babian will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies.  Professor Barlow Mugrdechian will present Professor Hovannessian’s biography, discussing his work and book publications.

 
The Cultural Program will include Armenian folkloric ethnical dances and musical performances.  There will also be a book sale of Professor Hovannessian’s six books.

 

Feb. 17 –         Meetings will be held with the Diocesan Council and the Diocesan Endowment  Fund.

 

Feb. 18 –         36^th Annual Debutante Ball – see attached

 

Feb. 19 –         His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, will attend the Los Angeles Religious Leaders Council Meeting, hosted by the Roman Catholic Church.

 

Feb. 21 –         His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, will visit

St. James Armenian Church in Los Angeles for Huskoom (Lenten Evening Services).

 

Feb. 22 -          His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, will be visiting with the graduating class of Hovsepian School at the Diocesan Headquarters.  The Primate has initiated the tradition of holding a special meeting once a year with graduating classes and engaging in a dialogue with the students.  The meeting will be followed  by a luncheon.

                                                                       

Feb. 23 –         His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, will be

visiting with the graduating class of the Manoogian-Demirjian School at the Diocesan Headquarters, followed by a luncheon..

 

Feb. 25 –         His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, will be in

Portland, Oregon for a pastoral visit, and presiding at the Divine Liturgy. A reception will follow the services.

 

Feb. 26 –         His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, will be

visiting the LaVerne Armenian community.

Feb. 28 –         His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, will visit

with the Dickranian School Graduating Class at the Diocesan Headquarters,  followed by a luncheon.

 

Feb. 28 -          His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian will visit St. Sarkis

Armenian Church in East Los Angeles for Huskoom (Lenten evening services).
