Group from St. John Armenian Church of San Francisco Made Pilgrimage to Western Diocese

Despite the heavy rain, a group of 22 people from St. John Armenian Church of San Francisco made a heartfelt pilgrimage to the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America, in Burbank and were warmly received by His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, and other Diocesan clergy. During the Luncheon, Fr. Sarkis Petoyan, Pastor of St. John Church of San Francisco, expressed his gratitude to the Primate for the warm reception. His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian in concurrence with the grateful parishioners expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Fr. Sarkis Petoyan for his outstanding and exemplary leadership, as well as the wonderful pilgrims who had come all the way from San Francisco to Burbank to visit the Western Diocese. Another highlight of this fun pilgrimage visit was the celebration of the 50th wedding-anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Paul and Helen Manougian, which took place during the Luncheon. Gift packages were distributed among all pilgrims and other guests present during the luncheon, in the Armen Hampar Room of the Western Diocese. Following the luncheon, the Vicar General of the Western Diocese, Very Rev. Fr. Dajad Dz. V. Yardemian, led the pilgrims on a tour of the Diocesan complex.
