Western Diocese

The 120^th anniversary of the Hunchakian Social Democratic Party took place on Sunday, November 4, 2007, 6:00 p.m., at the Glendale High School Hall.

His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church was present at the event, accompanied by His Eminence Archbishop Vatche Hovsepian, the former Primate of the Western Diocese. Rev. Fr. Dr. Archpriest Zaven Arzoumanian and Rev. Fr. Archpriest Nareg Madarian also were present at the event.

The program began with the National Anthems of the United States and the Republic of Armenia performed by Lena Manookian and Samvel Vardanian. Dr. Ruben Yaghsezian offered the opening remarks. Youth Association was represented by Khachig Garsevanian. H.S.D.P. Central Committee message was delivered by Sedrak Adjemian.

Gabriel Moloian presented the speaker of the evening, the honorable guest, Lyudmila Sargsyan, Chairlady of Armenia H.S.D.P. She presented her prepared remarks afterwards. Mr. Sedrag Adjemian delivered the evening’s closing remarks.
