Western Diocese

On March 29^th, 2007, Los Angeles City Attorney, Rocky Delgadillo will receive His Eminence Abp. Hovnan Derderian, clergy of the Western Diocese, and esteemed guests in his office to celebrate the 80^th Anniversary of the establishment of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church.

In his letter of invitation to the Primate, Mr. Delgadillo states “I would like to congratulate you and the Armenian Church for continuing to serve as a guiding force within the Armenian community and among faith communities through Southern California.”

The Primate looks forward to meeting with the City Attorney and sharing with him not only the story of the Diocese’s past, but also a vision of the aspirations that it has for the future.
