On Sunday, September 23, the Primate celebrated the Divine Liturgy and offered the sermon at St. John of San Francisco. Fr. Sarkis and deacons served at the Holy Altar. At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, the Primate along with Fr. Sarkis Petoyan, performed a dedication of the Paul Family Fellowship Hall, in honor of Mr. Varnum Paul Esq., Mrs. Sue Paul and Ms. Karen Kondazian, and in memory of Mrs. Almas Paul, Dr. Barre Paul, Lillian Paul and Frances Paul Lyons. In appreciation of Mr. Paul’s dedicated services and philanthropy, the venerable Catholicos Karekin I had bestowed upon him the St. Gregory the Illuminator Medal of Honor.
