On Sunday, November 18, 2007, the Armenia Fund Reception was held at Omni Los Angeles Hotel at the California Plaza. His Excellency Bako Sahakyan, President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, His Excellency Vartan Oskanian, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Vahe Aghabegians, Executive Director of Armenia Fund International, as well as many other distinguished guests attended the event.

The Primate offered his blessings to Armenia Fund and wished success for the upcoming Thanksgiving Telethon and offered the following prayer: “Almighty God, tonight we celebrate the 15^th anniversary of Armenia Fund, a mission which transpires with a special message; to become partakers in the Armenia Fund. Thus having the right to become shareholders in the rebuilding of Armenia and Arstakh. Almighty God, tonight we take heed—we listen—to the message of Mother Theresa who challenges us with the following powerful words, “Life is a promise, fulfill it.” Armenia is the promise from God. Our life is a promise from God. Let us commit our lives for the everlasting Armenia. O Lord, we thank You for all the gifts granted upon us, but above all for the grace of the Motherland Hayastan and Artsakh—the dream of our heart and the dream of the future generations to come.”
