Western Diocese

On Saturday, July 29, 2007, Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, celebrated the Divine Liturgy, delivered the sermon at the Armenian Church of La Canada.  Archpriest Fr. Hovsep Hagopian, Pastor of the church, and Deacons served at the altar.  During the Divine Liturgy, the Primate ordained Sub-Deacons and Deacons.  In his Sermon, the Primate extended congratulations, commended their parents and praised the Deacons for their calling and serving God.  A reception was held following church services.
