Western Diocese

Vartavar, the celebration of the Transfiguration of Christ, is one of the five major feast days in the Armenian Church. On Sunday, July 15^th, Abp. Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese, celebrated Divine Liturgy and delivered the sermon at the Armenian Church of Burbank (Diocese). Fr. Zaven Markosyan, and deacons served at the Holy Altar. Also in attendance were Fr. Tavit Zelveyan, parish priest, Diocesan Chancellor Fr. Sipan Mekhsian, and Fr. Mikael Kyureghyan.
