n February 4, 2008, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, accompanied by the Vicar General of the Western Diocese, Very Rev. Fr. Dajad Dz. V. Yardemian, Archpriest Hovsep Hagopian and Dn. Hovnan Vartanyan, paid a pastoral visit to Armenian Apostolic Church Brotherhood of Glendale.
Senior member Dn. Arshag Galemderian in his opening remarks expressed his utmost appreciation and happiness to the Primate and the accompanying clergy for their presence. The Primate spoke on the importance of the Great Lent and called upon the faithful to fast and live a prayerful life during the 40 days of the Great Lent in order to cleanse their souls from impurities—to contemplate and know their true self.
