Western Diocese

On Sunday, October 14, 2007, the Primate will attend AGBU Annual Dinner-Dance, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Pasadena. California Senator Joseph Simitian and Mr. Yenovk Baligian will be the honorary guests for the evening.

We thank God, that the Western Diocese is blessed with so many distinguished professionals and successful individuals who also contribute so much to the Church and the community at large.

Mr. Yenovk Baligian is certainly one of the individuals described above, who has served in the realm of education for many years, as a member of AGBU, without hesitation and with much dedication to the Armenian national and social causes.

We are glad that the Southern California AGBU has decided to honor Mr. Yenovk Baligian, a gifted and dedicated personality. Considering Mr. Yenovk Baligian’s services in the educational and social realms, by His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian’s recommendation, His Holiness Karekin II the Catholicos of All Armenian has bestowed upon him the medal of Sts. Sahag and Mashdots.
