His Eminence accompanied by Mrs. Silva Katchigian, chairlady of the Ladies Society Central Council visited the Armenian Church of Seattle on Sunday February 11th. The Primate celebrated Divine Liturgy, delivered the sermon, and ordained acolytes, sub-deacons and deacons. He commended Parish Priest Fr. Yeghia Isayan, the Parish Council, and the Ladies Society for their dedication and determination to construct an Armenian Church.
Following church services, Mrs. Katchigian had a meeting with the Ladies Society during which she informed them of the activities of the Central Council as well as the Ladies Assembly. She answered their questions and gave them information encouraging them to continue their services to better organize the Ladies Society. During the reception both the primate and the Mrs. Katchigian had the opportunity to greet the faithful.
