Western Diocese

Rev. Fr. Ghevont Miyilian and Rev. Fr. Vahram Melikian, representatives of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin participated in the 80th Annual Diocesan Assembly of the Western Diocese on May 3-5 at St. Gregory Armenian Church in Pasadena.

On that occasion, they were representing His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians.  Fr. Ghevont serves as the Director of the Religious Education Department in Etchmiadzin.  Fr. Vahram serves as the Director of the Information Department in Etchmiadzin.

During their stay they were invited to conduct Badaraks, deliver sermons, and have the chance to visit the parishes and attend many events in the Western Diocese area.

We are also happy to be informed that in the coming months, two of the high ranking Clergy, Archbishop Nourhan Manoogian, the Grand Sacristan of Jerusalem, St. James Monastery and Archbishop Aris Shirvanian, the Chancellor, will be visiting the Western Diocese.
