Western Diocese

On Monday and Tuesday, July 9-10, 2007, His Eminence Hovnan Abp. Derderian met with the dean of St Nersess Armenian Theological Seminary, Hayr Daniel Findikyan. Also present at the meeting were Fr. Shnork Demirjian, Fr. Sarkis Petoyan, Hayg Madoyan, and Mashdots Chobanian.  The purpose of the meetings was to strengthen the relationship between the Western Diocese and St Nersess Seminary. Srpazan and Hayr Daniel met with priesthood candidates Dn. Matthew Ash, Dn. Mkrtich Ksatchikyan, and Dn. Ryan Tellalian to discuss their educations at St Nersess Seminary. Several points were enumerated to assist in the development of the relationship between the seminary and the diocese, including a presence of the seminary at the diocesan summer camp program.
