Western Diocese

A reception was held on April 30, 2007 at the Western Diocese in honor of the Honorable Armen Liloyan, Consul General of the Republic of Armenia.  During the reception,  the plaques of the Godfathers, Avak Godfathers and  Benefactors were unveiled.  His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, accompanied by the clergy of the Diocese held a short religious service.  Following the service, the Consul General was officially welcomed and introduced to the public. 

Consul General Liloyan presented an indepth report on the current political and economic conditions in Armenia, speaking both in Armenian and English.

After the unveiling ceremony and the Consul General’s remarks a cocktail reception was held for the approximately 200 guests in attendance.
