On February 27, 2010, Rev. Archpriest Fr. Hovsep Hagopian, Parish Priest, the Ladies Society, the Sunday and Saturday School teachers and students, Dn. Varazdat Barseghian of the Armenian Church of La Canada visited Ararat Home in Mission Hills, California.

The children recited and sang beautiful poems and songs in Armenian. The jubilant grandfathers and grandmothers expressed their desire to welcome the beautiful and talented children more often.

Rev. Archpriest Fr. Hovsep Hagopian called upon Mrs. Lena Simonian, Chair of the Ladies Society to give a heartfelt message to our elders. In turn, Mrs. Simonian wished them health and prosperity. Additionally, on behalf of the Armenian Church of La Canada, she donated $300 to Ararat Home. Fr. Hovsep delighted our grandfathers and grandmothers with his beautiful songs. The children gave out "Faithfully I Confess" prayer books of St. Nerses the Graceful to our elders. The delightful morning ended with the saying of the "Lord's Prayer."
