Primate, Clergy and Faithful gathered for a joint prayer session at St. Gregory Armenian Church in Fowler, California
On March 27, 2008, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, accompanied by Fr. Zaven Markosyan and two Deacons, presided over a joint prayer session at St. Gregory Armenian Church in Fowler, California. Several Clergy and the faithful from the Armenian churches throughout the Fresno region enthusiastically participated in the prayer session.
At the conclusion of the prayer session, Fr. Yeghia Hairabedian, Pastor of St. Gregory Armenian Church- Fowler, spoke on the ongoing challenges confronting the church, including the issue of youth participation and the preservation of traditional family values.
His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian in his concluding remarks expanded on the mystery of the Resurrection of Christ our Lord as well as the issue of youth participation in the life of the church. A reception was held following the church service.
