In the afternoon of Sunday September 28, 2008, Archpriest Fr. Dr. Zaven Arzoumanian and Yertsgin Joyce, representing His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, attended the joyous celebration of the installation of the Rev. Kurt Robert Christenson as the Senior Pastor of the Salem Lutheran Church in Glendale.

The officiant for the event, His Grace Bishop Dean W. Nelson in his remarks recognized the presence of Archpriest Fr. Dr. Zaven Arzoumanian and Yertsgin Joyce at the event. The homilies were offered by Rev. Ralph E. Peterson. A dinner-reception was held following the service.
