Armen Atanyan Art Exhibit Showcased
On May 10, 2012, the Zorayan Museum of the Western Diocese was the venue for Armen Atanyan’s Art Exhibition titled “Armenian Games and Traditions.” The event attracted more than 300 art aficionados from the greater Los Angeles Area. Close to 50 of the talented artist’s paintings were on display for the art-loving public. The art exhibition showcased the creative world of the artist whose inspiration is derived from Armenian traditions and folklore games.
The son of famous artist Vladimir Atanian (founder of the Atanian Art Center), Armen has participated in more than 120 group and solo exhibitions in Armenia, Russia, India, Ukraine, South Africa, Great Britain, Greece, France and the United States. The artist is best known for his original oil paintings and mixed media on canvas.
