Western Diocese of the Armenian Church

On Palm Sunday, Archpriest Fr. Hovsep Hagopian celebrated the Divine Liturgy and delivered the sermon at the Armenian Church of La Canada and Crescenta Valley. The Parish was filled with the faithful. With the assistance of Deacons Varazdat Barseghian and Stepan Marikian, Fr. Hovsep conducted the Trnpatsek ceremony. The parishioners led by Fr. Hovsep, Deacons, Choir members, and Sunday School students led a procession to the where Fr. Hovsep presided over the Blessing of the Four Corners of the World (Andastan). Parishioners received blessed olive branches on the occasion of our Lord's entrance into the Holy City of Jerusalem.
