Primate Presides Over St. Gregory Parish Council Opening Meeting
On January 8, 2009, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, received the members of the newly elected St. Gregory (Pasadena) Parish Council at his office in the Diocesan Headquarters in Burbank, California. Several important issues, including the appointment of a new Parish Priest and repayment of loans accumulated by the church during last several years, were discussed during this meeting.
On the joyous occasion of the first year of the completion of the construction of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church of Pasadena, Mr. and Mrs. George and Flora Dunaians will be hosting a fundraising event at their residence, on February 8, 2008, to honor the godfathers and benefactors of the church. The proceeds will be used for the repayment of the loans acquired by the church for the construction project.
