Western Diocese

The remembrance event in memory of Archbishop Melik Tangian, organized by “Jan Tavriz” organization was held at the Glendale Civic Auditorium on April 5, 2008.

Very Rev. Fr. Dajad Dz. V. Yardemian, Vicar General, accompanied by Dn. Mayis Shahbazyan and Dn. Hovnan Vartanyan, represented the Primate at this memorial event.   The Vicar General of the Western Diocese read the message of His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian wherein the Primate recalled the late Archbishop as one of the most distinguished and important leaders of the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church in the 20^th Century.
