Western Diocese

On November 12, 2009, the Tekeyan Cultural Association was the venue for the art exhibit of late artist Lucy Panoyan.

The exhibit was held under the auspices of His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, and was organized by the Atanian Art Center.

The Rev. Fr. Dr. Zaven Arzoumanian represented the Primate. Dn. Kevork Panoyan, the husband of the late artist, expressed his gratitude to the Primate and to the director of the Art Center, Professor Vladimir Atanian. Rev. Fr. Dr. Zaven Arzoumanian offered the opening prayer, expressed the Primate's blessings and prayed for the soul of Lucy Panoyan.

The director of the Atanian Art Center Vladimir Atanian kindly presented the artworks of the late artist Lucy Panoyan.

A small reception was held following the exhibit. Some of the paintings were from private collections while others were donated by the Atanian Art Center.
