Western Diocese

During year 2007, St. Andrew Armenian Church of Cupertino, Santa Clara Valley, raised and donated $11,600 to various causes within and without the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church. Under the outstanding leadership of Fr. Datev Harutyunian, the exemplary Parish was able to assist a seriously ill young man in Armenia, the Armenia Fund and a sister church in Armenia. The Parish provided financial assistance to a local low-income family as well as transferring funds, as a portion of the pledged amount by the Parish towards the construction of the Mother Cathedral, to the Western Diocese. Once again, we command the outstanding Parish, the Parish Council, Ladies’ Society and all other organizations of St. Andrew Armenian Church of Cupertino that worked diligently, under the leadership of Fr. Datev Harutyunian, for raising the amount of $11,600 in donations for several God-pleasing causes.
