Western Diocese

On August 6, 2008, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian presided over the first meeting of the 110^th Anniversary Committee held at the Primate’s office in the Western Diocese. The Vicar General of the Western Diocese, Very Rev. Fr. Dajad Dz. V. Yardemian was also present during the meeting. The Committee will coordinate the efforts of the community in collaboration with USC to hold a symposium on the joyous occasion of the 110^th anniversary of the establishment of the Armenian Church in the United States, next year. Dr. Hrair Dekmejian, Professor of Political Science, USC College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, accompanied by Mr. Vatche Mangerian were invited and participated in this meeting.
