Western Diocese

On Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at 7:00 p.m., under the Presidency of Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate,  a presentation of Archbishop Arsen Berberian’s book, “The History of Armenian and Anglican United Church 1845 – 1905” was held in the Kalaydjian Hall at the Western Diocese Complex in Burbank. In attendance were members of the Diocesan Clergy and the Armenian community.  The author emphasized that as of today, the Armenian Church continues its brotherly relationship with the Anglican Church.

On this occasion the speaker was Grish Tavtian, President of the Armenian Writers Union.  Closing remarks were delivered by the Primate who commended the important studies of Archbishop Berberian and the historic source he has provided.
