Western Diocese

On February 15, 2008, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, accompanied by Mr. Armen Hampar, Mr. Berj shahbazian and Mr. Joseph Kanimian, Esq., Vice Chair of the Diocesan Council, paid a special visit to the Lincy Foundation and met with the newly appointed president, Mr. Jay Rakow. On behalf of the Western Diocese the Primate expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Lincy Foundation stating that throughout the years their support has significantly contributed to various charitable and reconstruction projects in Armenia. Mr. Rakow thanked the Primate and the Diocesan delegation for the visit. He assured the Primate that the Lincy Foundation’s commitment to the charitable causes in Armenia was unwavering. The reception afforded the Primate an opportunity to engage in friendly discussions with the president and staff of the Lincy Foundation.
