On Sunday, July 1, 2007, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, paid his first pastoral visit to the Victorville community accompanied by Rev. Fr. Mampre Kessabian and Deacons Mayis Shabazian and Arsen Hairabedian. In his sermon the Primate praised the birth of the new community and commended the members for their commitment to strengthen their house of worship. Following the liturgy a reception was organized in the church hall. The services were held at the St. John Orthodox Church which operates under the supervision of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA).
