On Sunday, October 21, 2007, the Primate celebrated the Divine Liturgy and offered a sermon at St. Andrews Armenian Church in Cupertino. The Primate will ordain Sevak Yenikomshian, Andre Abrahamian, Haik Najarian and Shant Stepanian as Sub Deacons.

The Badarak was followd by a reception-luncheon on the joyous occasion of the 45^th anniversary of the Armenian School of the church. The Primate presented Arpi Halepian, Sona Sousanian, Meline Mkhtchian and Shake Ramlon, as 20-year veteran teachers of the school, with “Blessings and Commendation” certificates in addition to the “Armenian Spirit” medals. Teachers Elisabeth Tatoian, Vera Soghoian, Hera Kestekian, Rena Chanchnian, Hasmig Archbold, Alice Nazarian, Lucie Gasparian and Tamar Sargisian-Warren recieved certificates of “Blessings and Commendation.” Anahit Nalvarian is the principal of the school.
