Due to the arrival of His Holiness Karekin II to the Western Diocese same night, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Western Diocese as well as the 110th anniversary of the establishment of the Armenian Church in North America, Archbishop Hovnan Derderian was unable to attend the Banquet.
