Western Diocese

On June 6^th, 2007, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian attended a reception at the Kurkjian Hall of the Armenian Church of the Desert. Present where members of the community, members of the Rancho Mirage City Council, as well as Mayor Hobart.

This event was held to celebrate the fact that the parish has begun the second phase of church construction.  His Eminence welcomed the dignitaries in attendance and expressed his gratitude to the Parish Council, Construction Committee, and the Ladies Society for their dedication.
