Academic Year Begins with Primate's School Visitations

The Academic year 2008-09 will begin with several visitations by His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian and clergy from the Western Diocese to the Armenian schools in the area.On Wednesday, August 27, 2008, His Eminence accompanied by Very Rev. Fr. Dajad Dz. V. Yardemian, Vicar General, Archpriest Fr. Shnork Demirjian, and Fr. Avedis Abovian, will pay a pastoral visit to A.G.B.U. Manoogian-Demirjian School.On Tuesday, Septermber 2, 2008, the Primate accompanied by Fr. Khajag Shahbazyan will be visiting the Little Angels Art School.Very Rev. Fr. Dajad Dz. V. Yardemian, Vicar General, and Archpriest Fr. Manoog Markarian, Pastor of St. John Armenian Church of Hollywood will visit T.C.A.  Arshag Dikranian Armenian School, on September 3, 2008.On September 3, 2008, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian will pay a pastoral visit to A.G.B.U. High School in Pasadena. Very Rev. Fr. Baret Dz. V. Yeretsian, Pastor of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church of Pasadena and Fr. Avedis Abovian, Youth Director, will accompany the Primate during this school visitation.On Thursday, on September 4, 2008, Primate’s visit to St. Gregory Alfred and Marguerite Hovsepian School will conclude the new academic year visitations to the local Armenian schools. Very Rev. Fr. Dajad Dz. V. Yardemian, Very Rev. Fr. Baret Dz. V. Yeretsian, Fr. Khajag Shahbazyan and Fr. Avedis Abovian will accompany the Primate during this school visitation.
