ARCLA CEO Visits Western Diocese

On July 7, 2010, the CEO of American Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles (ARCLA) Paul Schulz visited the Headquarters of the Western Diocese to meet with ARCLA Board member Joseph Kanimian Esq. During the meeting, they discussed the upcoming consecration of the Cathedral, the Pontifical Visit of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians to the Western Diocese, and strengthening of the bond between ARCLA and the Western Diocese.
As Chairman of the Executive Body of the Organizing Committee of the Pontifical visit, Mr. Kanimian invited Mr. Schulz to the consecration ceremony and gave a tour of the newly-constructed Cathedral to the CEO. They further discussed fundraising opportunities for ARCLA for the benefit of many communities under the jurisdiction of ARCLA.
Mr. Schulz conveyed his congratulations and best wishes to Mr. Kanimian and to His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, who due to a prior commitment was unable to attend the meeting. Joseph Kanimian Esq. also serves on the financial development committee of the ARCLA.
