Western Diocese

On November 23, a reception and presentation highlighting "Armenian Architecture Exhibition" was held at the Hampar Room of the Diocesan Complex. The event was held under the auspices of His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, and the support of His Excellency Grigor Hovhannissian, Consul General of the Republic of Armenia in Los Angeles.

After his welcoming message, the Primate encouraged the Architects Association of Armenia, USA Chapter to take a greater role in introducing Armenian architecture to the world.

The purpose of the event was to organize an architectural exhibition showcasing over 700 models. Furthermore, this exhibition will debut at the Los Angeles City Hall and will make stops in Irvine, Fresno, San Francisco and Seattle. 

Ashot Dorian, a member of the Architects Association of Armenia, USA Chapter Together with His Excellency Grigor Hovhannissian gave a brief overview of the project presentation.

The evening came to a close with a parting message and prayer by the Primate.
