Assumption of Virgin Mary Was Observed at Ararat Homes

The Assumption of Virgin Mary, commonly known as ‘the Blessing of the Grapes’ in the Armenian tradition, was observed at the Ararat Homes of Mission Hills and Shadow Hills, on August 14 and 15, 2008. A group of clergy headed by Very Rev. Fr. Dajad Dz. V. Yardemian, Vicar General, including Fr. Tavit Zelveyan, and several deacons from the Diocese, participated in ‘the Blessing of the Grapes’ ceremonies for the elderly residents of Ararat Homes in Mission Hills and Shadow Hills.
