Western Diocese

On June 26, 2010, the Primate presided over the Christian Education Council (CEC) Meeting at the Headquarters of the Western Diocese. Mrs. Debbie Derderian chaired the meeting.

Fr. Khajag Shahbazyan offered the opening prayer. The Primate introduced the challenges of the Christian Education within the Western Diocese. Mrs. Debbie Derderian, Chair of CEC, introduced a program that is aimed at forming and maintaining close ties with the Ladies Society Central Council, Executive Board of the Armenian Summer Camp and other auxiliary bodies of the Western Diocese.

The members of the CEC also focused on implementing necessary changes to the Sunday School programs. These changes will take effect in the upcoming school year.
