Western Diocese

On July 13, 2010, the Primate presided over the Clergy Executive Council Meeting at the Headquarters of the Western Diocese. It was chaired by Archpriest Fr. Arshag Khatchadourian.

The Primate welcomed the clergymen and discussed the details of the Pastoral Letter which was sent out to the Parish Priests. He also informed that the second Pastoral Letter would be sent out in the near future.

Another important topic on the agenda was the Pontifical visit to the Western Diocese and the preparation efforts for all the events leading up to the visit.

The Very Rev. Fr. Dajad Dz. V. Yardemian, Vicar General, introduced his latest work pertaining to Holy Baptism, Holy Matrimony, and Funeral Service among other rites. Upon the approval of the Primate, the book will be submitted for publication.

Other important other topics related to the Western Diocese were discussed during the meeting.
