“From Ararat to Europe” Documentary Film Screened at the Glendale Public Library

More than one hundred people attended the screening of the highly anticipated documentary film titled “From Ararat to Europe” at the Glendale Public Library on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. The screening was organized by PEOPLE 4 PEOPLE foundation. Producer Arsen Hakobyan filmed in Armenia, Georgia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France and Italy.

The film tells about Armenia, Armenians canonized as saints in Europe and Leonardo Da Vinci’s visit to Armenia; whereby European church architecture adopted Armenian architectural traits. The film included facts (researched by the producer) which were presented to the viewing public for the first time. Archpriest Fr. Hovsep Hagopian represented the Primate at the screening and conveyed the Primate’s genuine wishes to the film’s producer Arsen Hakobyan.
