Grand Opening of Newly Renovated Geragos Hall

We are pleased to inform that the grand opening of the newly renovated hall at St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church was held on Friday, June 25, 2010.
The hall was renamed Geragos Hall in honor of the parents of Mark Geragos, Mr. and Mrs. Paul and Betty Jane Geragos.
The event saw the participation of the Primate, His Eminence Archbishop Vatche Hovsepian, the Very Rev. Fr. Kegham Dz. V. Zakarian, Archpriest Fr. Sarkis Petoyan and the Deacons.
During the memorable evening, Mr. Vahe Skenderian, Chairman of the Parish Council, offered the welcoming remarks and expressed his appreciation to Mr. and Mrs. Mark Geragos.
Archpriest Fr. Sarkis Petoyan offered the Invocation. The Master of Ceremonies was Brian Kabateck, Esq. During the program, grandchildren Rachel, Mikey, Teny, Jake and Ruby Alice expressed their love and respect for their grandparents Paul and Betty Jane Geragos.
In his remarks, Attorney Mark Geragos expressed his appreciation that the hall of St. Gregory would be named Geragos Hall. He expressed his love for his parents and wished them health and happiness. He also thanked the Primate for his support.
Archpriest Fr. Sarkis Petoyan and Parish Council Chair Vahe Skenderian presented Mr. and Mrs. Paul and Betty Jane Geragos with a gift of appreciation.
In his closing remarks, the Primate referred to one of the Ten Commandments, "Honor your father and mother." He reflected on the importance of loving and respecting one's parents. He commended Attorney Mark Geragos for his sincerity and love for his parents. He congratulated Mr. and Mrs. Paul and Betty Jane Geragos and also commended the dedicated service.
The Primate also commended the dedicated service of Archpriest Fr. Sarkis Petoyan, Mr. Vahe Skenderian and to all those who wonderfully organized the beautiful evening.
