On November 15, 2009, the Diocesan clergy of each respective Parish read the Primate's message on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Consecration and Enthronement of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians. The letter in its entirety read:

"Beloved Faithful,

This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the Consecration and Enthronement of His Holiness karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, as the head of the Armenian Church worldwide.

During this past decade, there have been many noteworthy and important achievements in the life of the Armenian Church throughout the world. Under the effective and caring leadership of His Holiness, the Armenian Church has lived an era of revitalization and growth within and out of our beloved Motherland Armenia. Many beautiful Armenian churches have been built in Armenia, Artsakh and other parts of the world. Numerous religious, spiritual and historical books have been published and made available to the faithful of the Armenian Church in Armenia and elsewhere. The Interchurch relations and the movement for further cooperation between the Armenian Church and the Armenian Government have made significant headways since the beginning of the Pontificate of His Holiness Karekin II.

During these past ten years, His Holiness has graced almost all Dioceses of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin with his much anticipated and blessed Pontifical visits.

We pray to the Lord Almighty to preserve our beloved Pontiff and grant him health and guidance, so that he may continue to render his Pontifical service as the leader of the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church throughout the world.

Personally and On behalf of the entire Western Diocese, I congratulate His Holiness on this auspicious occasion, wishing him good health and continuous success in his service as the head of the Armenian Church."
