Western Diocese

On January 26, 2010, Ladies Society Central Council Chair Araxie Boyamian, Vice-Chair Lena Simonian and members Alice Iskenderian and Meline Agagianian met at the Diocesan Headquarters.

Rev. Fr. Khajag Shahbazyan, Parish Priest, gave a spiritual message to the guests. Then, with the Very Rev. Fr. Dajad Dz. V. Yardemian, Vicar General, the membesr of the Ladies Society Central Council headed to the following Parishes of the Western Diocese:

At 10:30 AM, they visited the Alfred and Marguerite Hovsepian School of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church in Pasadena. There, they met with the members of the Ladies Society of St. Gregory as well as members of the Parent Teacher Organization. "The Beatitutes," a spiritual message from the book of Matthew 5:3-10 was delivered by Parish Priest Rev. Archpriest Fr. Sarkis Petoyan.

At noon, the Vicar General and the members of the Ladies Society Central Council arrived at St. John Garabed Armenian Church in Hollywood. They received a spiritual message from the Parish Priest and Vicar of the Southern California Region Rev. Archpriest Fr. Manoug Markarian.

St. James Armenian Church was the next Parish on the agenda. They reached the Parish at 2:00PM and heard a heartwarming spiritual message from Rev. Archpriest Fr. Arshag Khatchadourian.

During each visit, the Vicar General extended the Primate's blessings to the faithful of each Parish.
