These are exciting times for the Armenian Church in Seattle as the construction is in full effect. Last month, the 16 cross-stones which were blessed by His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, were placed in the 16 corners of the church by the Godfathers.

After his spiritual message, Fr. Yeghia Isayan asked everyone to place their prayers in the capsule, which would always dwell under the Holy Altar. Then, Fr. Yeghia invited the faithful to join in the first candle-lighting ceremony of the church.

It is hard to believe that the Armenian community in the State of Washington will soon have a divine place of worship, the Armenian Apostolic Church in Washington.
