News from the Western Diocese Christian Education Council

The Christian Educational Council is appointed by the Primate to develop, implement and oversee the religious educational programs of the Western Diocese. In doing so, it strengthens and develops the Christian Faith as expressed in the Armenian Apostolic Church for the glory of the Most Holy Trinity.
Since its inception six weeks ago, the Christian Education Council has set important goals and has achieved success. The following is the list of the members of the Christian Education Council.

Workshops & Activities
Our Lenten Workshops entitled 'Seasoned with Grace", will be presented in four areas of our Diocese:
- February 27th. St. John Garabed, San Diego
- March 6th, St Gregory, Pasadena
- March 20th- St. Vartan, Oakland
- April 10th-St. Mary, Yettem
"Seasoned with Grace" is an inter-generational workshop that establishes a vital link between Sacred Tradition, Sacred Scripture and our Armenian cultural traditions which make us unique. From the Holy Altar to the Church kitchen participants will experience the many ways that God is most present to us in the ordinary aspects of our life. It is a workshop sure to engage children of all ages!
