On Palm Sunday, the Primate celebrated the Divine Liturgy and delivered the sermon in St. Peter Armenian Church in Van Nuys, California.

The Primate also introduced Congressman Brad Sherman who was present at St. Peter on Palm Sunday and is one of the advocates of the Armenian Genocide resolution in Congress.

The special "Terenpatzek" service followed the celebration of the Divine Liturgy. Parish Priest Rev. Archpriest Fr. Shnork Demirjian, Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zaven Demirjian, the Deacons of the Parish and the Choir also participated in the Palm Sunday services.
