Primate Meets with Diocesan Clergy of Northern California

Following the opening prayer in the California State Senate, the Primate met with the Diocesan Clergy of the Northern California region at St. James Armenian Church in Sacramento. Among the clergy present were Rev. Fr. Asoghig Jamgochian, Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Datev Harutyunian, Parish Priest of St. Andrew Armenian Church in Cupertino and Vicar of Northern California, Rev. Fr. Hovel Ohanyan, Parish Priest of St. Vartan Armenian Church in Oakland and Rev. Fr. Diran Avagyan, Parish Priest of St. John Armenian Church in San Francisco.
Rev. Fr. Asoghig Jamgochian welcomed the Primate and the guest clergy. The Primate heard about the current and future activities of each respective Parish. Additionally, the Primate informed the members of the clergy of the currents stages of the construction of the Diocesan Cathedral, the ACYO event schedule as well as the preparation effort for the 2010 Hye Camp. He also informed about the remaining schedule for 2010 and introduced the schedule for 2011.
