Primate Pays Pastoral Visit to Armenian Community in Utah

On February 6, 2012, the Primate paid a pastoral visit to the Armenian faithful community in Salt Lake City, Utah. The visit was organized by the Armenian Relief Society.
On the same day, a public meeting was held at Arbat Banquet Hall in Salt Lake City where the members of the community expressed their desire to establish a parish in the State of Utah. In response to community’s plea, the Primate ensured to the faithful that a Visiting Priest would be assigned to tend to the spiritual needs of the faithful in Salt Lake City, Utah would celebrate the Divine Liturgy once a month.
The following members were assigned to the Parish Council by the Primate:
